How To Build A High Ranking Authority Real Estate Website

Content SmartsMost real estate agents that I speak to who want to start a blog often fall into the trap of thinking two things:

  1. That an indexable IDX alone is going to get their website to rank on page 1 of Google quickly. And,
  2. That the more keywords they focus on, the quicker they’ll rank for each one of those keywords in search results.

Both of these are flawed thinking. But rather than just telling you what you’re doing wrong, I asked SEO and analytics pro Gahlord Dewald from Though Faucet to join us and help us build a roadmap for getting a new real estate blog to rank quickly.

Join us as we discuss:

  • Why you start by doing keyword research and what terms you should rank for.
  • Why you need to write (at least) 10 pages of content for each keyword you want to rank well for.
  • What to look for in your Google Analytics to make sure you’re on the right track.
  • Why Google Authorship matters.
  • How to use (and optimize) your categories properly to make your content not only easier to navigate, but to rank better.
