Capture Video Testimonials With Warm Welcome!

Testimonials are a powerful form of social proof that can lead to a sale. After all, what others say about you is different and more powerful than what you have to say about yourself.

And video testimonials are even more powerful. Because with a video testimonial they get to hear about the experience straight from your other customers mouths.

Testimonial videos allow your clients to see other people (just like them) talk about what it’s like working with you, while giving an honest, unscripted opinion about their experience. And ultimately, it’s going to help you narrow that trust gap that exists when someone’s just getting to know you.

Introducing Warm Welcome

Warm Welcome positions itself as being able to “deliver personal video messages across the entire customer experience.”

Here’s the value to a real estate agent and how I would start using it if I were you …

#1: Start to capture video testimonials from happy customers immediately after (or during) a transaction.

(Time it takes to set this up: less than 5 minutes)

Just embed a video widget onto your website and share your landing page url with a customer. Here’s one that I quickly put together as an example.

And here’s what you might say in your video if you created your own testimonial page: yourdomain.com/shoutout

Hey there

Thank you for letting me represent you on your recent real estate transaction.

We ask all of our clients who want to give us a public testimonial or shout-out to record a quick video for us (if you prefer text, that’s ok too).

If you’re thinking about what to say, many of our clients have told us that these are the following characteristics that have been useful to them:

1. Having 5 star reviews across the board

2. Why you chose us to represent you? (Our expertise, our accessibility, etc.)

3. Was there something in particular that we did that you appreciated?

4. Our knowledge and expertise over the local area market

5. Our patience, communication and education throughout the process

6. Would you work with us again?

Thank you in advance for taking a moment to leave us a video review and help us spread the word about our business!

#2: Embed a video bubble on your What’s My Home Worth landing page (either before or after they’ve converted on your landing page).

(Time it takes to set this up: less than 5 minutes)

Everything we say in sales is pre-framing. In other words, we’re framing the conversation for how we want things to go.

So while a consumer is looking to find out what their home is worth, you can set an expectation by recording and adding a website bubble saying the following before or after they convert on your what’s my home worth landing page …

You’re about to receive a free home value report. Please keep in mind that this is an automatically generated report and it is not meant to replace the experience and instinct of a local real estate professional, that’s where I come in.

You might look at it and think, “my home is worth way more than this.”

Here’s what you need to know: buyers are seeing numbers just like this from Zillow and other platforms. Worse, real estate professionals are relying on tools like this to help them figure out your home’s value as well!

For a home like yours, technology isn’t enough. You need human expertise and storytelling to inspire people to see your home’s value beyond the algorithm.

If you want an expert, human valuation of your home, reply to this email and we’ll take care of the rest.

#3: Embed a video bubble/signature in your email.

(Time it takes to setup: Less than 5 minutes)

Right now, the game is all about creating new listing opportunities. So, record a quick video in your email signature that says:

Hey there,

Hope you’re doing well!

The pandemic plus the election both impacted the real estate market so I’m spending some time today creating custom CMA’s for a few of my favorite people (just like you).

This is a detailed, multi-page report that will show you what your home is worth and what other homes near yours have sold for.

Normally, I only do these if someone is selling their home but I decided that getting a report like this would be valuable even if you aren’t.

Want one for your home?

How are you using video in your marketing?

The use cases are endless. You can literally create and send video emails to clients to connect with them at a deeper level , put a face to the name, and allow them to connect with you faster.

Like I said, to shorten that trust gap that exists when they’re going from lead, to relationship, to customer.

These are just a few of the use cases I see for putting Warm Welcome to work for you!
