Recap: #140conf LA Meetup

Jeff Pulver is the producer of the #140conf series. From the conference website:

At the #140conf events, we look at twitter as a platform and as a language we speak. Over time it will neither be the only platform nor the only language. #140conf is not an event about microblogging or the place where people share twitter “tips and techniques” but rather where we explore the effects of the real-time Internet on Business.

The 140conf in Los Angeles debuted October 27-28th and featured over 130+ speakers from varying professions in talks that spanned no more than 15 – 20 minutes. Needless to say a ton of information was covered and all from varying perspectives.

On Monday, December 14th, Jeff Pulver kicked off what I considered a miniature version of the #140conf at the Yahoo! Offices in Burbank. Excellent presentations and explorations into the real-time web! We learned. We networked. We ate. We danced. We laughed. Oh, and we might have enjoyed a Twitter-tini or two…

Thanks Jeff for the wonderful event and thank you all for the wonderful time!
