Are You Building Momentum?

Ever feel stuck? Like that To Do List is too long and you don’t know what to do next?

We’ve all been there and it’s ok. Today is the day…

Today is the day you tackle that new project. No more fooling around. No more procrastinating. Set a timer if you have to. Set it for 45 minutes and don’t get up until it buzzes. Even if you end up sitting there for 45 minutes blankly staring at that computer screen, sit there and tackle that project. Then, repeat this exercise daily. Do you know why? Because what you’re doing is building a habit.

Achieve success in any area of life by identifying the optimum strategies and repeating them until they become habits. – Charles J. Givens

To get out of that rut, you need to build some momentum. You do this by breaking things up in to smaller, achievable tasks and creating little victories. Then, do this again over and over and over again to keep building that momentum.

So, what are you going to start today?

Good post Ricardo. That's why a to do list with 10 items on will get less done than a to do list with 3 items on. You can hide behind the long list.

Agreed! Small, actionable, achievable goals are better than loftier ones or ones that take forever to complete.
