I just got done watching Leigh Brown’s keynote at Inman Real Estate Connect in New York. A couple of things really resonated with me.
First, agents are always searching for that silver bullet. How can they generate more leads? How can they close more deals? What tools or programs should they be investing in?
To which Leigh responds:
“You know what’s going to help you sell 100 listings? HUSTLE!
The one’s who hustle succeed.”
Have you written your business plan for 2016 and are you working your business plan?
Are you following up with current and past clients to get them what they need?
Are you hitting your numbers? If not, what can you be doing to improve?

Your local MLS hosts training sessions every week. Are you taking advantage of those sessions? Are you implementing what you learn?
They often offer free products as a “member-benefit” – it’s including in your MLS dues. Are you taking advantage of those products and their free training sessions? And again, are you implementing & executing?
Are you attending any trade shows this year to learn from the best?
Are you listening to your clients feedback when they give you reviews? Are you learning from your mistakes and finding ways to get better?
